Registration Open

I’m writing to let you know that registration is open for the Spring 2026 season! As always, please don’t wait until the last minute to try and register. We’re planning on having registration run until the Friday before skills day, February 20th. Register at beaufortlittleleague.com, log in and you should see programs available to your player based on age.

Info Session

As we did last year, we will hold an information session to help those who are new to the league or have questions. This will be held at the Beaufort Train Depot. February 8th at 2:00 pm. Tell your friends and neighbors!

Coaches Meeting

Coaches are the lifeblood of the league, we recognize that. We invite all prospective coaches to 1) register as a volunteer on the website, so we have your contact information and 2) come out to our coaches meeting February 20th at 12:00 pm at Freedom Park, just before skills day. If you would simply like to see if coaching is for you, come see us at our information session to get all the info and advice. 

Skills Day

We’re planning to have Skills Day in the afternoon of February 22nd. T-Ball and Coach Pitch divisions, as we’ve done historically, will not have a skills slot, but we’ll have a parents meeting instead. We’ll send out more information about when each division will be showing their skillz. 

Coaching Clinic

In collaboration with Coach Anthony Williams, we’re hosting a coaching clinic the week between Skills day and Practice starting. Tentatively we’re planning on Tuesday, Feb 24th, after work time frame. If you are head or assistant coaching this year, please plan on attending. There will be something for everyone.

Team Selection and Practice

Team selection always follows Skills Day. Some divisions take longer than others to be divided. Please be patient in waiting to hear from your coach, but if you don't hear anything for an unreasonable amount of time please email us or talk to a board member. Practice can start anytime after teams are defined. We realize there is a small conflict with rec basketball the first week for those that play. Please just express your schedule to your coach. Practice will not start until the week of March 2nd depending on the team’s availability. We’ll just have to be a bit flexible there.

Communication

Good communication is always one of the most important things in any relationship. Even ours (that’s why this email’s so long). Even between you and your coach. We’re trying to do better. We’re bringing back the GameChanger app more efficiently this year at all levels (If you played Seashore Soccer, it's similar to their Sports Engine app). This app works with our registration website and “should be” relatively seamless. We’re hoping this eliminates all the group texts and folks mistakenly getting left off of group texts…
